About Mark Bulmer

With more than 37 years of automotive industry experience, I hold a wealth of knowledge in this sector. This has enabled my career progress from a trainee sales person then progressing to the following roles as Business Manager, Fleet Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, Dealer Principal and Senior Valuations Editor. Fast-forward and I now find myself as the most experienced Car Valuations Editor. Having joined CAP-HPI in 2007 as 'Black Book Editor' my role involves researching the past and current markets, analysing in depth both trade and retail sales data and the setting of used car valuations for key automotive sectors. Consulting with key sector parties across the automotive industry such as OEM’s, rental, leasing, vehicle retailers and auctions, which has allowed me to build strong relationships across the industry. This in turn has helped me gain a clear understanding and in depth knowledge of the overall car market. My development continues, constant change in the automotive industry continues to motivate and inspire me and I look forward to facing the continuing changes within the industry possessed with my wealth of knowledge, experience and the desire to achieve.
