A highly experienced and professional Electrical Technician skilled in operating, maintaining and conducting defect investigation and repair on electrical generation and distribution equipment, EC & I, fire and gas detection, electro-mechanical interfaces and domestic systems. Conversant in planned maintenance, computerised reporting, I possess strong communicative, both written and oral, abilities. Previously a member of the Armed Forces and now an offshore oil and gas industry worker I am trained to be highly adaptable, quick to learn new skills, complete work to the highest standards in a safe and disciplined manner working autonomously or, as an effective team member. I am an extremely conscientious and resourceful Engineer now seeking a new and challenging role in an exciting and inspirational sector. AREAS OF CONVERSANT SYSTEMS • High voltage AC and DC generation and distribution including switchboard and transformer maintenance. • Reactor control and instrumentation including high power SCR circuitry and VFD systems. • Air conditioning and refrigeration. • Galley and domestic laundry equipment maintenance and repair. • AC and DC motor and starter maintenance and repair.
