About Mark Bussetti

Biscuit manufacturers, staff of the Royal Family, and warehouse workers have more in common than you might think. From McVitie's to Buckingham Palace, I’ve led manual handling training courses and participated in company wellbeing days across the length and breadth of England. With 20+ years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I have delivered countless training programmes to around 100 prestigious organisations across the UK. As an articulate and highly-experienced trainer, I adapt my delivery style to meet the diverse needs of audiences from various backgrounds and cultures. From risk assessment to practical skills training, my role as Director of Osteopaths For Industry’s Manual Handling Training team has seen me spearhead initiatives that have helped nationwide organisations improve their workforce’s wellbeing. I'm a hands-on trainer, designing and delivering courses that are engaging, impactful, and created with each attendee in mind. I began my OFI journey in 2012, and the last decade+ has seen my collaboration with renowned organisations like Windsor Castle, the BBC, DHL, and Univar, providing them with the highest standard of manual handling, risk assessment, train the trainer, and back care courses. These experiences have not only enriched my expertise but also given me an in-depth understanding of the distinct needs and expectations of a vast range of diverse sectors. My passion for training and responsibility for mentoring all OFI’s new trainers fuels my commitment to creating safer work environments. Using my training need identification skills, I work with clients to develop bespoke training materials that speak to their staff’s needs. I am dedicated to cultivating a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement within organisations. With a focus on presentation excellence and communication, I also instil a sense of purpose and enthusiasm in learners. When it comes to manual handling, one size never fits all.
