I have extensive experience as a Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Trustee influencing change, positively challenging directors and scrutinising risk and financial management. I am skilled at offering independent guidance, coaching and diplomacy with Board members together with strong governance. I have held positions as an independent NED and a NED representing major investors within both public and private companies. I am accomplished at commercial transformation and building shareholder value with a current portfolio of start-up, SME’s and a £1Billion business notably within Automotive, Scientific Testing, Medical Device Innovation, Green Technology and Property. After 20+ years working in the City and latterly as a Senior Investment Director where I was part of a team, which over that time, grew net assets from £62M to nearly £1Billion, I can offer an extensive network, a high level of analytical and financial skill, M&A corporate development expertise and hands-on oversight of corporate finance and accounting. Chartered Accountant, big 4 trained with an early career in audit, accounting & financial analysis.
