I am a third generation family practice physician with a passion for improving the healthcare system. Since my early days in medical school I have been driven by a passion to think beyond the exam room. I began learning about the way the United States healthcare system was created, how it currently exists, and how it can be improved. After residency, this led me to my current focus on population health. I believe that effective education and motivation of our primary care doctors is our best chance at success in shifting the momentum of healthcare spending in the United States.
