About Mark Calvert

Over twenty years’ experience constructing and commissioning integrated control and safety systems within the oil and gas sector. Initially employed by a systems integrator company on assignments at numerous installations world-wide, my career has further developed with seven years' client-side expertise. This has seen my ‘hands-on’ skills with various industry standard control and safety products now enhanced with a degree of proficiency in project management, vendor co-ordination, hazard analysis and commercial considerations allied to the petrochemical industry. My recent MAC Area Coordinator role had a project management emphasis while continuing the technical implementation theme. I demonstrated a professional and ethical attitude, accomplished technical knowledge and organizational skills while providing an internal Engineering/Construction/Quality interface and liaison with the client’s PMT and 3rd party contractors. In my current Project Manager role, I display a methodical and organized work ethic with strict adherence to company standards and HSE procedures. Coordinating daily site activities to align with project deliverables and schedule, maintaining HSE and quality management focus, providing overview, problem resolution, direction and guidance along with engineering field support and progress reporting are the mainstay attributes within my skillset. A key contributor within any integrated, multi-discipline team, I exhibit strong desktop and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate well at all levels.
