About Mark Carbajal

I have over 10 years of experience as a secondary high school teacher and have managed to incorporate successful strategies for learning throughout my years as a teacher. I also have a history of having collaborated well with my peers at work. I am a team player and have always gotten along well with administrators and fellow teachers. I hold a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and a Ph. D in curriculum & instruction. I feel that my background experience at the primary and secondary levels coupled with educational theory qualifies me as a potential candidate for technology and educational organziations. I am quick and accurate in assessment. I calibrate my educational IQ to any organizational environment and adapt quickly and with stealth. I feel that my education at the doctoral level has enabled me to better apply curriculum strategies in departments or across the intended school. I have strong communication skills and I am comfortable with staff and have experience working with different teaching strategies while working at the high school level. I have over a year’s experience working with undergraduate students at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and six years’ experience where I currently teach: Coastal Bend College
