I am not willing to relocate. I cannot consider positions requiring heavy outdoor physical work due to health issues. My minimum considered compensation is $80k with potential for over time and benefits. I am unable to travel overnight. I am an experienced (23 years) industrial electrician with a specialization in medium voltage variable frequency drives. Vast experience in reading wiring diagrams and schematics, reading ladder logic programs, troubleshooting electronics, electrical wiring, logic challenges and coolant systems. I work closely with switchgear and switchgear technicians, motors and process experts to provide precise and safe control of motors for various loads across a wide range of industries. I have also worked on power generation and distribution systems including medium voltage applications. I have also worked on motors, switchgear, motor integration systems, As a team member of projects, I work closely with other trades to achieve production and construction goals. Being responsible for the VFD, I am frequently responsible for driving coordination across multiple trades to attain project start up. In my current position I have worked on water utilities, various types of power plants (coal, natural gas, solar power, and nuclear), oil and gas pipelines Including offshore oil drilling and production, manufacturing facilities( including rubber/tires, paper products and wood by products), and mining sites. I served in the US Navy for 10 years as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate concluding my service as a First Class Petty Officer (E6).
