As a resourceful Network Architect & System Administrator with an extensive background in operational process improvement within the tech industry, I am recognized for using my critical-thinking skills to deliver highly functional and durable solutions to problems related to hardware, software, and networking, with a strong focus on multi-user computing environments. As an IT professional, I am very proud of my inner drive for ever-growing technical expertise. In past roles as a Network Architect and Systems Administrator, I take pride in solidifying business continuity and improving DR preparedness at EllisDon Corporation, which has been demonstrated by a project where I designed, configured, and implemented an IBM PureFlex chassis to house the virtual infrastructure and led the migration efforts of all legacy physical servers to VMs. Additionally, I carried out the design and configuration of a 1Gbps Allstream Wavelength EPL connectivity between our core and DR data centers for SAN replication. My proficiency in IT project management is witnessed by the fact that I have overseen 30 projects with an on-time & budget completion rate of 95% and provided $25K/yr in savings by consolidating and cleaning up Server OS, SQL, and User/Device CALs during my experience as an IT Manager at Festival Hydro Inc. Over the years I have grown into a professional who owns strong initiative for acquiring new skills and climbing the ladder of professional development.
