About Mark Casswell

Experience in natural resource management gives me an awareness of the importance of peoples collective experience in achieving a healthy landscape, clean food, clean water and clean air. This realisation has lead me to a focus on human and landscape well being in challenging environments. My main focus is to achieve sustained environmental health and ecological solutions across landscapes, industries and cultures. I strive to understand how to develop simple solutions in a complex world that assists people to improve their contributions to the society and the environment we live in. A summary of skills includes: 1. Environmental Horticulture including Arboriculture; Landscape design and maintenance in the rural/regional and urban context; Agroforestry; Open space management; Municipality and Utility Vegetation management; 2. Applied ecology in landscape management - particularly water quality improvement from increased ground cover [pasture and other vegetation] in grazing land management and constructed wetland design; 3. Grant design, assessment and management. Group facilitation; 5. Organisational development; 6. Program/Project management and organisational opportunity/risk management; 7. Procurement and Human Resource Management; 8. Business Management Systems including integrated management systems - environment, quality and safety;
