About Mark Champney

I have over 25 years experience in IT, the last 17 managing a consulting firm which generated over $1M in product and services sales at its peak. Our focus has been on MapInfo GIS software and data sales as well application development for clients in the telecommunications and healthcare industries. I seek a senior position with a firm which will challenge and grow the business and technical skills I have gained over the years, while contributing to participating in the growth and success of the business. My primary areas of subject matter expertise are in the use of geographic information systems in the telecommunications and healthcare industries; my core strength is the ability to quickly understand the technical issues faced by a business, and then design and implement solutions to resolve those issues. I also have extensive experience with relational database design, implementation, and maintenance. I am interested in a osition that would entail both customer-facing business development/management and technical analysis and design of solutions to the real-world problems found in today’s business world. I am looking to join a firm where I can apply the business development and technical skills I have gained over the years within a team of consultants.
