About Mark Ciepluch

When asked to introduce myself I always begin with "father of 3 great kids and husband to a great wife for over 25 years". I think it's important to have a strong base, and mine starts at home. Professionally I believe in strong leadership (have a plan, communicate, nurture and adjust) and "rapid prototyping"(I apply the theory of quick planning and testing to everything I do). I move with a purpose and although I have strong opinions, I always let the facts drive the decision. I invest a lot into my staff.culture, culture, culture. The only way I succeed is if my collogues succeed! I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses and I am told that I am "very comfortable in my skin". Continuous improvement is a constant, with me and my associates.move fast, think, listen and learn from your mistakes. I have been blessed with great mentors my entire career. From Bob Laskowski at Briggs & Stratton to Kathy Scherbarth at Strattec, and especially at EMTEQ. EMTEQ surrounded me with un-paralleled talent and drove me to levels I never thought possible. Jerry Jendusa, Rachael Bahr, Jeff Rozewicz, Sam Matar and countless others took time to improve me. I grew from a Program Manger to COO in 7 years. P&L, business planning, sales tactics and strategy, negotiations, ops, etc were all skills that I embraced and grew to enjoy. After EMTEQ, a small group of us purchased Vendura Industries and I applied my skills to growing a new group of individuals. Vendura is an innovation company that is constantly connecting art with architecture. We not only produce the highest quality solid surface in the industry (color consistency, homogeneity, workmanship), but we also have patents on behavioral health shower drains. We let our customers drive our product development, from shower bases to wall systems, from brand labeled OEM parts to vanities. We service many markets including healthcare, OEM, military and other institutional and commercial markets. My current role at the BreakThru Strategies level (owners of Vendura) still has me as President of Vendura, but also allows me to help direct Xiogenix. Who knows what tomorrow will bring!
