Mark K. Clare, Masters Physics, Masters Philosophy, Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, has over 25 years of experience in operational excellence, knowledge management, strategic change, innovation, and technology with leading Fortune 200 companies including 3M and Allstate, major health systems and a Silicon Valley start-up. Mark Clare is author of the Cognitive Design blog and several publications including the book Knowledge Assets (Harcourt Press) and a series of articles in KM Review on “Solving the Knowledge-Value Equation”. He holds two patents with several new applications under development. His work in micro-learning and behavior change was recognized by a Harvard Business / McKinsey Consulting M-prize. Before founding his own firm, New Value Streams, Mark was a vice president for Parkview Health where he was a member of the executive team responsible for the design, planning, and construction of a $536M regional medical center. Currently, Mark is a Principle Advisor of Strategic Initiatives at Purdue Healthcare Advisors where he leads the process improvement service line. He also serves as adjunct faculty at Northwestern University where he teaches graduate students in the Leaders Program.
