About Mark Cline

I have always had an interest in how things work and understanding how systems fit together. This passion for learning has allowed me to work for some outstanding companies, making a career out of improving processes and managing costs and performance. My work history was built on learning. Adding an undergraduate minor in my senior college year led to an internship in the graphic arts industry. A successful performance managing costs and projects along with some more education opened the door to promotions and a great job in plant and facilities engineering. This job made financing my lifelong love with aviation a reality. I learned to fly an airplane, earning private, commercial and flight instructor licenses. Some career changes and other opportunities put me in education, teaching high school math and science and at the local community college. A few more college courses later, earning an air frame and power plant license, I was working in the aviation industry for an airline. Starting as a mechanic, I was promoted to maintenance controller, then department lead, and my current job as records supervisor. The common thread in these very different jobs in specialized careers is the willingness to learn. No matter what the job, learn all you can and be ready for change. Never give up. Enjoy the journey.
