About Mark Crandall
As an Assistant Coach and the Director of Operations for Utah State University’s cross country and track & field programs, I draw from both my personal experience as a former student-athlete and my academic background in exercise science (B.S, M.S, CSCS) to help student-athletes reach their full athletic potential. My role involves coaching the distance events (specifically the steeplechase), designing strength training programs for the various distance event groups, coordinating team travel and other logistics, recruiting, and anything else our athletes need to be successful. My long-term career goal has always been to be a physical therapist. This August I will begin a Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Creighton University en route to my ultimate goal is to be a resource for people, and especially athletes, to recover quickly from injury and continue doing what they love.
