About Mark Crilley

Having outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, I have been employed in positions where I have built a rapport with many people on all levels and enjoyed interacting with others, giving a positive attitude and establishing myself as someone who people know they can rely on for assistance, honesty and integrity, building relationships based on trust and knowledge and continually working to improve on what I do. Currently employed as a Warehouse Supervisor, my responsibilities include supervising a team of warehouse staff, prioritising workload, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, ensuring KPI’s are met and managing staff and shift handovers. Previous employment has seen me in different roles including manual labouring positions, predominantly in warehousing, in which I have also supervised teams, and have trained and mentored staff. Through being honest and fair, I have gained a great deal of respect from colleagues, and always lead by example. Being highly organised I manage my time well, maximising all opportunities and challenges as they arise with the aim of a positive outcome. Working in a team environment I enjoy, although I can be relied upon to work autonomously. I am also happy to take on extra responsibilities, especially in the pursuit of further knowledge. Always keen to take on information, I do so with enthusiasm asking questions until I have satisfactory answers. Although I have an excellent sense of humour, I take my work very seriously and know how to prioritise effectively and efficiently, seeing a task through until completion. Outside of work I enjoy football scouting (DBS checked) and watching professional game. I also undertook running at 47 years old and love the challenge of pushing myself in training and races. 100K distance is my best at present, although I run half marathons and I raise money for underprivileged or disabled children, and Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
