Mark is an accomplished executive leader who specializes in sustainable community development With over 25 years of experience as an executive director, consultant, and international development expert his strength is in inspiring and initiating collaboration to build and lead high-performance teams. By effectively bringing together businesses, non-profits, academic institutions, and governments he delivers results across issues such as poverty, health, community development, and empowering leadership to create value for organizations and the common good. One of Mark's strengths is his ability to identify barriers and implement effective strategies in challenging contexts. This includes the management of multi-million dollar relief projects in the developing world, building professional leadership development programs, administering core program evaluation, fundraising and creating new corporate-charity partnerships. He has a proven track record of implementing effective strategies that align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth. As an engaging and creative facilitator, his leadership practice supports a diverse range of people and organizations. Over adult learners have benefited from his training courses in international development, cultural intelligence, resilience, and community leadership. Mark is a driven and results-oriented leader who is dedicated to making a positive difference in the world. He holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, with a concentration in Executive Leadership. Outside of his professional endeavours, Mark is a proud father of two young daughters, and they enjoy fishing together near their home in Victoria, British Columbia.
