Examination of the scene and full reconstruction culminates in giving evidence at court, where I am accepted as an expert in this field. I am experienced at giving evidence in Crown, Coroners and Civil courts. I hold a Professional Doctorate by Public Works in the field of Collision Investigation (DProf) and a Master’s Degree in Science in the field of Applied Physics (MSci Hons.). My work in the field of Collision Investigation has led me to obtain Chartered Physicist (CPhys) status from the Institute of Physics. I am an Advanced Automotive Engineer (AAE), Licentiate of the City and Guilds Institute (LCGI) and a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry (FIMI). I am a member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (MCSFS) and a Member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP) and a Member of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (MITAI). I am a 1st Tier Expert with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a full vetted member of the U.K. register of Expert Witnesses. I have conducted investigations into hundreds of road traffic collisions and draw on both academic and practical experience in compiling my findings. I pride myself on delivering a high quality product and explaining even the most complex of findings in a straight forward way. Scientific integrity is key and I commit fully to investigating collisions in an impartial way. Research is a keen interest of mine and I have published the following peer reviewed papers: Maximum Attainable Braking from a Pedal Cycle – ‘Impact’ 2011 Calculating Vehicle Speed from Yaw Mark Analysis – Proceedings of ITAI Conference 2014, EVU conference 2015. Quantifying the errors in skid to stop calculations -'Impact' 2015. My current fields of research are- Obtaining Vehicle Speed from Motorcycle Slide Distance. Calculation of Vehicle Speeds and Positions using CCTV footage.
