About Mark Cunich
I first travelled overseas at the age of 1 and have been overseas almost every year since. In 2015 I visited 6 continents in one year, USA did not make the list. As well as sharing my travel passion with others, I enjoy photography and scuba diving, which both fit perfectly in with my day job. From a very young age I knew that I wanted to run the family business, Unconventional Conventions. My parents bought the business when I was 10, and I began to learn the ropes. I travelled with the groups as they explored the world and participated in the medical conferences. I studied accounting / finance at university and completed the chartered accountants program, all in an effort to learn more about running a business. It was not enjoyable, but valuable. In 2010, I joined Unconventional Conventions full time. I later bought into the business and became the managing director. I couldn't see myself doing anything else.
