About Mark Daniels

I'm more than just a just a CNC programmer, during the course of my working like I have acquired skills and knowledge in the manufacturing industry that I think would be a good asset to any employer seeking someone who is always looking for and pushing forward new ideas and scenarios of how something can be made to the highest standard in the shortest time-frame using and embracing technology, new and old to achieve these goals. I started work in a tool room learning all the basic machining and finishing skills. I moved on and up several times into different manufacturing industries, learning and taking with me new skills as well as fine tuning the ones I already have. Most of my past employers noticed I had an eye for detail and enthusiastic so pushed me in the direction which used the best of my skills to their advantage which in turn gave me more experience and helped develop my skills further. CAD/CAM became the way forward for me, learning to operate CNCs, programming on the control, then moving to offline programming all seemed a natural progression for me, add to that creating 3D models in Catia completes the package. I am very inventive, self motivated and always willing to help and share my ideas but I can also listen to someone else’s ideas and help implement them, I always believe in a fresh pair of eyes. I am a contractor and have my own Ltd business, Design Extreme Technologies.
