About Mark Davies

Mr. Davies is a Vice President for the DRA litigation Group based out of the Atlanta office for the Cumming Group. Prior to this, Mr. Davies the President of Owners and Advisory Services at Aegis Project Controls Owners Services Group. Before than, he was a Managing Director in Berkeley Research Group (BRG) and Head of the Latin America Region for the Construction Group. Prior to that he was a Senior Managing Director in the FTI Forensic and Litigation Practice as a member of the Construction Solutions Group, he was head of the Miami office and led the Construction Solutions group in Latin AmericaHe is considered an expert project controls manager with significant experience in the project management, construction management and project controls (Contracts, Claims and disputes, scheduling and cost). Mr. Davies’ experience is broad based, he has been part of the senior management team on a number of international Projects in Europe, South Africa and South America. He is able to fulfill a number of management roles dependent on the projects’ needs. He is adept at both pro-active and forensic construction consulting. This experience allows him an unparalleled ability to assess and react to challenges at all stages of the construction process.Forensic and dispute resolution skills include: review critical path method (CPM) schedules and cost reports for existing projects in dispute: prepare as-built schedules; analyze costs; prepare detailed extension of time and cost claims, using CPM delay/impact analysis; develop and write expert reports; create computerized graphics for use as exhibits or presentations, and represent clients at depositions, meditations, arbitration's or trial.Specialties: Mr. Davies’ has specialized skills and experience in Project Controls including Planning – Scheduling (using Primavera P3 and P5); Project Financial and Cost Control (EPCM and CAPEX)(including setup of the cost controls systems);His project background is broad based heavy industrial, he has experience on petro-chemical, Utility (Steam and power), metals and mining, multiple airport and transport projects as well as pulp/paper large scale projects.
