About Mark Davies

After 15 years or commercial experience in the field of sales and marketing, as a manager, director and later a consultant both in sales training and director mentoring consultancy, I moved into the medical field. Starting as a consultant in 2011, and moving on to full time sales manager/director of Ariane Medical Systems Ltd. I am tasked with developing the market and patient awareness of the Papillon X-ray Brachy treatment (the use of low energy X-rays for treatment of accessible tumours) originally for rectal but now with new products for breast and skin cancers. I've helped us grow from a small number of sites we now are in 5 European countries with new franchises being set up in 2015 in SE Asia, USA, China and India as well as continued local and EU growth- Published author of my own battle with colorectal cancer - Saving My Arse- Patent rep SSCRG - National Cancer Intelligence Network (NCIN) Public Health England - Patient rep The Christie & Macmillan Survivorship steering group - Lecturer on Bowel Screening Nurse course at Liverpool John Moors I speak at numerous events for Trusts, Cancer Networks, charities and Universities and am working with NHS England on their Survivorship pilot in Manchester
