People say creativity in advertising is dying. People say the talented ones are leaving the industry. That’s just motivation to prove them wrong. I see and work with super talented people every day. I love being a creative coach, to put a fire in people to make something brilliant. You can’t beat that feeling. Okay AI is here, and yes it’s pretty bloody good. But… I really believe nothing beats the creative brain and a motivated team to produce industry defining work. Advertising may be dead in some senses of the word, but working in social, gaming, AI, metaverse and the rest, it’s obvious advertising is only getting started and an incredibly exciting place to be. I’ve worked in London for over 18 years, at some of the best ATL, digital and social agencies in the world. My experience covers delivering award winning 360 campaigns, hiring, building and growing creative teams and studios, strategically building brands, winning new business, leading pitches, writing scripts and managing key client relationships. I try to help and support new creatives through agency initiatives and The Dots network.
