About Mark Day

I completed 35 years of employment at Columbus State Community College. I gained a wealth of knowledge in the IT field specializing in IT infrastructure.PC's, automation control, AV design/deployment/installation and diagnosing problems. I advocated for a remote projector management system for the classroom and was a contributor of the successful implemention.I learned to adapt quickly and react in the proper manner. Gaining leadership and organizational skills from the Boy Scouts of America. This allowed me to be more efficient, set goals "SMART", motivate people, implement changes, learn delegation. While working with adults and youths, one of the most rewarding things is to see them set a goal and complete it. I have 3 boys from the Boy Scout Troop that have earned Eagle Scout while I have been Scoutmaster. I have learned through work at CSCC and doing apartment maintenance for over 3 years to treat all tenants the same and some need additional TLC. I have assisted my son's in successfully launching their own lawn care business that is in its forth year. I would like to continue in the IT field/Maintenance/Construction/Consulting or Leadership and use my skills full time. As I have learned in the leadership training."
