CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certified I.T. engineer with a focus on software, networking, O.S. troubleshooting (Microsoft Windows based systems, Linux, and Mac O.S. X), and malware / virus removal. I help to prevent issues before they occur, and resolving issues that do occur. I prefer Ubuntu Linux as my primary system, but I can navigate my way on Red Hat based and Arch based linux systems. If it can be connected to the internet, I have probably worked with it. The range of customers that I have supported, and the size of the teams I have worked on is diverse. The companies range from small and local, of about 10 people, to very large, several thousands, with international customers. I have worked on small teams, a team of 3, to large teams ( of at least 100 in the same location). Retail customers, corporate support of employees and contractors, academic ( students, faculty, and staff ) are just a slice of who I have supported. My skills include securing wireless networks, customer service, training, consulting, networking, security, virus removal, spyware removal, JavaScript (pure and with libraries and frameworks), CSS, optimizing websites for mobile devices, PERL, BASH, Python3, PHP, MySQL, SSH, data backup and recovery, email filtering, regular expressions (regex), sed, awk, ansible, rsh.
