Mark Demetropoulos: Hi, I’m Mark, and I’m a corporate and tax law consultant. I’m a trusted advisor to clients regarding new/updated federal and local tax laws that affect their business. I’m passionate about solving complicated legal problems and seeking alternative solutions. I’ve become very good at simplifying complicated legal concepts so that I can explain them in plain language to my clients and non-legal colleagues. I’m drawn to help my clients protect themselves from losses. There is so much in the world that is outside of our control, and sometimes everything we’ve worked hard to accomplish can be swept away without a moment’s notice. Understanding and complying with the law is one of the best ways to lessen the risk of unexpected loss. My time at KPMG also helped me learn that attention to detail is another way to lessen risk.
