About Mark Denote

With over 10 years of experience as an editor and writer, I am passionate about sharing the stories, insights, and trends of Florida's craft beer industry. As the editor of Florida Beer News, I edit and write articles, create and maintain digital content, and consult with emerging brewers on press and communication strategies. I also host and produce the BeerWise Podcast, which won a Golden Crushie Award for excellence in craft beer marketing in 2023. As a Certified Cicerone - Level 2, I have a deep knowledge and appreciation of beer styles, flavors, history, and culture. I enjoy presenting on Florida's craft beer history, attending and covering beer events, and educating and entertaining the beer community through my publications and podcasts. I have a background in liberal arts and English literature, a Florida Teacher Certification in Language Arts, and a Marketing Foundations certificate from LinkedIn. I am always eager to learn, evolve, and challenge myself to do a better job.
