As a dedicated Scrum Master at ESB, I have successfully led the Electric Ireland website project to completion, delivering it on time and within budget after 16 months of meticulous planning and execution. This project involved coordinating with cross-functional teams, including various IT teams and business stakeholders, to ensure a seamless transition and minimal disruption to users. My role required me to facilitate daily stand-ups, guide sprint planning meetings, and manage key project milestones, all while maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders. Throughout this project, I have demonstrated strong leadership and decision-making skills, overseeing the development and deployment of a newly upgraded content management system. My technical proficiency was crucial in managing development timelines and addressing technical issues during the Sitefinity upgrade. In addition to my technical and leadership skills, I have excelled in stakeholder management, ensuring that all parties were kept informed and their needs were met throughout the project lifecycle. My ability to document processes and provide clear, comprehensive reports has been essential in ensuring project transparency and accountability. This experience has not only enhanced my project management capabilities but also reinforced my commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. In my previous roles, I have worked as a Business Analyst, supporting IT & Digital Business Partners to drive IT and Digital initiatives across ESB. I acted as the voice of the business within IT, ensuring that IT solutions aligned with business needs. Additionally, I worked in the Software Asset Management team as part of the ESB IT Graduate Programme. Through these experiences, I have developed strong stakeholder management skills that enable me to identify pain points and improve efficiency in processes. I am passionate about finding ways to progress work effectively. I hold a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance. As part of the ESB Business Graduate Programme, I completed a comprehensive program with the Irish Management Institute, which covered topics such as Personal Awareness & Effectiveness, Business Acumen, Critical Thinking, Analysing & Decision-Making, Leading Effectively, and Strategic Perspective. I hold a BSc in Enterprise Computing from DCU.
