Welcome! Vision is a vital sense that allows us to perceive the world around us and is considered by many to be the most important of all five senses. I have a deep connection with eye care. My dad benefitted from advanced medical services for his sight and upon his passing, donated his eyes for research. I am extremely proud to work in a community of optometrists, researchers, advocates, government, and a team of employees dedicated to delivering the best eye care for people in Ontario. I bring energy, simplify complexity, build networks, and nurture trust in our efforts. My career can be summarized in three phases: 1) Established a disciplined approach to Sales, Operations Management, and Data Analytics. Packaged goods sector. 2) Developed senior executive skills leading teams of up to 3,600 employees and budgets of up to $300 million. Enhanced knowledge of Supply Chain, Quality, and Program/Project Management. Healthcare (transfusion and transplantation). 3) Expanded leadership with joint Corporate Services (such as Finance, HR, and IT) and Operations accountability, transformed businesses. National amateur sport and Healthcare. I now serve as a CEO in healthcare (optometry). Accomplishments leading change and realizing goals that many thought were impossible: 1) Digital Transformations: Customer-centric experience redesign. Rolled out SAP and HubSpot CRMs, proprietary LMS and data analytics systems, Online appointment systems, award-winning GiveBlood mobile app, and AI Chatbot. Involved stakeholder groups such as staff, donors, patients, 1.2 million Coaches. 2) Workforce Transformations: Better use of valuable healthcare resources such as RNs and Clinic Assistants, improved quality, sped up processes, and saved millions in costs. Involved Patient groups, 2,500 staff across nine provinces, 20 collective agreements, 50 clinics, 500 hospitals, Health Canada. 3) Business Transformations: Rebuilt chain of Optometry clinics. Nurtured trust, emphasized staff well being, delivered bottom line numbers, and improved business value leading to acquisition. Fluently bilingual in French and English. Certifications in PROSCI Change Practitioner, MSP (Managing Successful Programs), CAPM (PMI), and Lean Six Sigma. Level II (secret) Government of Canada Security Clearance.
