About Mark Dreschke

I am currently working at DreamWorks Animation Television as Talent Relations Supervisor. Before I started working for DreamWorks, I was an editor, videographer and studio tech at the Midpen Media Center in Palo Alto, CA. Before that, I was the playground ambassador at Kids At Play, a one-stop production company that creates content for motion picture, television and digital mediums. As the playground ambassador, I was responsible for managing the office, being a production coordinator on set and being an assistant to the head of development. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema. I was a founding member of the Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Alpha and was in charge of the philanthropy committee. It was amazing to be a part of this fraternity where everyone is interested in filmmaking. Working as a team with others has always been one of my goals. Making people feel welcome has always been a priority of mine. My internships with 'KBCW, CBS Corporation' and 'TRX Training' have helped me gain experience in video production. I have filmed and edited videos for the Goethe Institut to help promote German programs in schools. I have also volunteered at the Community Media Center in Palo Alto where I have helped people learn about the equipment and supplies it offers. I have had the experience of working with people of many different ages and backgrounds at these organizations. I have experience with filming and editing short narratives and documentaries and I enjoy helping others and working with others to accomplish a project or solve a problem. I am also skilled at editing with Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. I am very passionate about filmmaking and my favorite part about it is the teamwork; everyone works together and puts all their talent to use to create something important and meaningful. I am hard-working, dedicated and determined when it comes to the entertainment industry.
