About Mark Durand

I have always had a deep curiosity about the world, how it works, and how it’s evolving. So it makes perfect sense that I’ve found a place at ServiceNow, which is leading the way in evolving how we look at the world of work. Having been exposed to the opportunities presented by technology and learning about the challenges facing the Federal sector, it’s extremely rewarding to watch the two converge in a solution that has real community impact. In my current role at ServiceNow, I work closely with customers to help them find new ways to deliver citizen services in the same way as they’ve come to expect from consumer technology. A deep understanding of how Federal departments work has been immensely important to ensure the feasibility and success of our projects. We have the chance to redefine the way many Canadians receive everything from healthcare to driver’s licenses. As a long-time advocate of human rights, I’m especially excited to see how the digital transformation of Canada’s government will make it easier for people to apply for refugee status and start a new life here. I’m open to connecting with other professionals in the Federal, tech, or human rights spaces.
