About Hi, it’s Mark. I’m a founder/partner at Operative Brand Consulting. Our services span Insight, Strategy, Experience and Activation. Combined, my partners and I have 35 years of global branding experience with Interbrand. After Interbrand Canada closed, there was no truly global brand consultant left other than Operative. We are essentially the Interbrand Canada reformed team with a cooler name. “We get global brand consultancy quality deliverables for considerably less.” This is true. We are a premium brand, and we scope accordingly. But because we’re lighter on our feet than the big global brand consultancies, we can do just fine with smaller fees. “I now see the difference between what you and my advertising agency does.” My background includes many years in advertising agencies writing copy, directing creative teams and developing strategies. I know from first-hand experience that there is a significant difference between these worlds.
