About Mark Eghan

Over 14 years of professional experience with strong passion to make real impact in international development, agricultural research and policy. I have acquired relevant professional experience working with Food and Agriculture Organization; African Environmental Research and Consulting; Center for Democratic Development; and Ghana Parliamentary Service. Since joining the African Development Bank in March 2016, I have worked across the Agriculture and Agro-Industry Department (AHAI) and Macroeconomic Policy, Forecasting and Research Department (ECMR). I have directly contributed in my capacity as the Agricultural Economist to the design and successful presentation to the Bank Management a total of 11 investment operations in the amount of US$ 1.2 billion across the key flagships of the FEED Africa Strategy in 10 different countries, focusing on increased productivity, value addition/processing, agri-SME development, market linkages, infrastructure development, etc. Views are personal opinion, they do not reflect the position of organizations I associate with.
