About Mark Elder
I started my career in the Oil Field in 2003 with Wood Group ESP. Working as a technician for downhole submersible equipment. Crossed into the Field Services side where I installed equipment in the water well section of Nexen/Opti SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravitational Drainage) division. Eventually coming back into the shop as a Senior Technician. During this time Wood Group was acquired by General Electric and I spent the next 7 years helping with the organization of jobs to meet our customer’s needs. After acquiring Baker Hughes I moved into a Production Lead Role where I looked after the shop floor. Organizing and delegating work on the floor as to meet our customer’s needs on a daily basis. Recently I have moved into the position of Sales & Operation Planning Lead.
