I am a self-motivated and passionate leader in science and engineering, global project management and product evangelism. I utilize diverse and transferable skills in product development, sales management, and strategic business operations to align results with the core mission of the organization. I possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, sophisticated technical expertise, and a commitment for driving positive change. The breadth of my work and educational experience is intentional—it is based on a plan I created when I was seventeen. I recognized early that the most effective way to impact the future of technology is to learn the languages of the key stakeholders (science/engineering/business) so I can bridge the communication gaps that impede the development and distribution of new ideas. Product Management: I have studied the principles of product design and development as a consultant, an entrepreneur, a manager, and a consumer. This includes experience with requirements gathering, market analysis, product roadmap creation, and agile development while guiding products through the stages of ideation, design, and creation. Sales: I have extensive experience in direct sales, sales management, and sales operations. My experiences in sales have taught me the importance of focusing on results, rather than features, when enrolling customers or colleagues in products or programs. It was during my years of door-to-door sales that I internalized the importance of empathic listening in discovering which results are truly important. Consulting: I have participated in projects ranging from data migration/software implementation engagements for Fortune 500 corporations, to product research/design/management for startups and mid-size businesses, and to valuation and acquisition research for a family business. Data: I have extensive experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative sales, production, and process data for a variety of companies in a wide range of industries. Growth: I enjoy challenging my weaknesses and overcoming them. As an example, math was traditionally my weakest subject and that is partly why I obtained a math minor. Passion: My emphases in business school were entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategy. I love challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities for disruption, and improving efficiency while enabling organizations and individuals to achieve their goals and dreams.
