About Mark Evanson

Mark is a skilled & experienced IT Architect and leader of architects, working in the Enterprise, Solution and Delivery aspects of the role. He is an experienced practitioner of three architectural frameworks: TOGAF, IAF & IBM’s Global Service Method. He has provided solutions and technical leadership for large programmes and niche business critical systems. Mark has developed enterprise architectures at organisation and domain level. He has developed transformation roadmaps to realise these enterprise architectures. He has led and established architectural teams and introduced methods and process to guide these teams. Mark has well developed commercial skills, facilitation skills, stakeholder management and planning skills. He was a systems manager for a medium sized enterprise and has managed people, engagements and budgets Mark has in-depth knowledge and experience of a number of market sectors notably Central Government, Local Government, Finance, Engineering and Education. He also has experience of the Logistics and Healthcare sectors. Mark is a creative thinker and problem solver, unusually he combines this with a tenacious ability to complete and finish tasks. He is a well-respected trainer, coach & mentor and is active in shaping architecture functions, recruitment, development and assessment.
