Participated in a leadership role in a collaborative design-build team in the largest student housing development at California State University, Los Angeles’s new South Village is the campus’s first traditional-style student residence. The residence halls offer 1,500 beds and helps expand the university’s goal to improve student engagement by providing experiences that allow students to collaborate, socialize, and interact in profound and impactful ways. The square feet residence wraps around a large plaza and garden where students can relax, study and congregate. South Village offers a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone thrives, respects differences and hones their cultural competencies.
