About Mark Farag

I am an IT logistics specialist transitioning to cybersecurity, with a strong passion for penetration testing and particularly red teaming. Since I was young, I have been passionate about how computers work. I built my first computer at the age of 15 and then proceeded to get a Kali Linux VM a year later. I played around with computers and pen testing apps for fun, but a few years ago I decided to take this route professionally. After using online resources to gain knowledge of concepts on COMPTIA material (such as the A+, Security+ and Network+), I decided to get certified. Regarding certifications, I started off with the Google Cybersecurity Professional, then I worked on and earned Offensive Security's PEN100 (Penetration Testing Fundamentals). I am currently working on the OSCP. Aside from work and studies, I actively contribute to well known GitHub repositories like PayloadsAllTheThings & UberGuidoZ along with my own projects. In my role as an AI Instructor, I create courses on AI integration and have developed AI tools such as "HackerGPT" for hacking simulations found on chatGPT 4.
