About Mark Fitzpatrick

In December 2023, I became Chief Executive Office at St. James's Place. Prior to this, I have been a Non-Executive Director and former FTSE100 Group Chief Executive, and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, I was Special Advisor to the CEO and Board at Prudential plc, assisting with the leadership transition and supporting on a number of key projects. In my six years at Prudential as Chief Financial Officer and latterly Group Chief Executive, I completed the strategic repositioning of the Group with the demerger of two of its businesses, a successful equity raise in Hong Kong and the company’s inclusion in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect Programme. Prudential’s digital transformation, product innovation, and ESG commitments were strategic drivers that I had the opportunity to highlight during speaking positions at COP26 and the 2022 Singapore FinTech Festival. Through it all, empowering colleagues to deliver on our purpose and ensuring that our people had a customer-centric mindset was a key priority. My roles as Chair of the Prudential Diversity & Inclusion Council and Chair of the Group ESG Committee underscore my passions beyond my Group CEO remit. Before joining Prudential, I worked at Deloitte for 26 years, building my industry focus on insurance and investment management globally. During this time, I was Managing Partner for Clients and Markets, a member of the executive committee and a member of the Board of Deloitte UK. I was a Vice Chairman of Deloitte for four years and also led the Insurance & Investment Management audit practice and the insurance industry practice.
