Medical Director and joint founder of The ATACC Group and NHS Clinical Director in Critical & Medical Care, Consultant in Anaesthetics, Critical and Prehospital Care. Creator of the ATACC UK course 20 years ago, which is constantly evolving and developing as a unique and internationally renowned and comprehensive casualty care programme. As ATACC I co-authored and edited the ATACC Trauma manual which is a world leading trauma text that has been freely viewed/downloaded over times. As a key innovator and course author for much of the ATACC Group educational materials, I am hugely passionate about the candidate experience and I am always developing and embracing innovative educational methods and ground breaking simulation techniques. Our unique IECP-programme trains from first aid through to the most advanced levels of trauma care. These course are ideal for first-aiders, High risk industry workers, tactical medics, HEMS and other healthcare professionals of all levels. I lecture and teach around the world in the fields of trauma and critical care and have previously worked in many challenging disciplines including aeromedical retrieval, ECMO transfer, Paediatric retrieval, Hyperbaric medicine and Tactical Medicine. I am also the Medical Director of a number of UK Emergency Services ( Police & Fire) and Voluntary SAR groups and a key organiser for several regular major International conferences.
