Mark is also an experienced mediator. He has substantial trial experience in both state and federal courts having tried over 100 jury trials to verdict. Mark was born in Portland, Maine. He graduated summa cum laude from Cheverus High School in 1977, and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1981 with a BA in Economics and Government. While attending Bowdoin, he spent a semester at the Institute of European Studies in London, England and a semester at The American University in Washington, D.C. He graduated from The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1984. He joined Thompson & Bowie, LLP the same year and was elected partner in 1990. He joined Drummond Woodsum as a shareholder in 2016. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and training sessions for attorneys, dentists and insurance professionals on employment law, trial practice, professional liability and risk management. Mark has been selected for inclusion on the New England Super Lawyers list in the field of Personal Injury Defense since 2007. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
