Over thirty (30) years experience directly related to the fabrication of fixed and floating offshore and onshore production platforms and drilling rigs. Experience includes all phases of Procurement/Material Control specializing in fast track, critical path assignments utilizing on-going crisis manage-ment. Duties have included developing Procurement/Material Management procedures for capital equipment, services, materials and supplies, all purchasing functions necessary to successfully fabricate, hook up and commission a production facility or rig and providing Domestic (USA) and International (UK/EU/Norway/Mexico/Israel/Malaysia) on-site assistance and supervision of material control activities, expedite materials, maintain equipment tracking schedules and coordinate project logistics. Experience includes over six years of supervisory experience for various drilling contractors. Various positions filled as necessary include Project Procurement Manager, Procurement Coordinator, Material Control Coordinator, Expediter and Project Logistics Manager. Responsible for the commercial content of the first MEI Request for Quote issued via the Internet. Assisted in review and revision of MEI Purchasing Procedures. Part of the first MEI, on-site, European project team. Familiar with European Union Procurement Directives, CRINE Terms and Conditions, FPAL, PETRONAS, Achilles and European procurement and negotiating techniques.
