About Mark Freeman

I am a self-educated business professional with a passion for innovation and "the next big thing" ideas. After qualifying for an acrchitectural scholarship to Kansas State in 1980 I went 180 degrees in another direction, opted not to attend college and went straight into sales. I have been selling ever since. I love to take an idea from concept to application and then to bring that product or service to its market. I have been helping businesses for over 25 years in sales, marketing and business development. I love public speaking and educating people about whatever I'm involved with. I have a deep-seeded entrepreneurial spirit and tend to focus my energy on creating a vision and direction for a product or idea. I love big challenges and often see the vision of an idea well before it's ready or it's time. My father battled multiple myeloma for over six years and finally passed in 2007. He inspiried me to quit working for others, use my God given talents, satisfy my entrepreneurial needs and "do my own thing". The GreenTech idea had been percolating for some time and my father's death was the catalyst for making the idea the business. Philisophically and politically opposed, my father kept nudging me to do something that would leave a legacy. I feel passionatley that we all need to use energy and resources more wisely and that our waste and excess was not an accetible legacy. I want to help people in a big way to save energy. Not justy a little energy but to systematically reduce energy waste by 50% or more! Our goal with GreenTech is to grow a company that improves the the efficiency of humanity one house or building at a time. And, to educate people about the value of efficient use of natural resources. My dream with GreenTech is to grow the company well enough to give a minimum of 1% earnings towards educating children about renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.
