Mark is a recognised Professional Engineer and recognised Fellow of Engineering through Engineers Australia. Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), a Graduate Diploma in Electronic Engineering Management, an Advanced Diploma of Administration and a Diploma of Personnel Management. Mark has a wide range and depth of experience in large and small scale military and civilian systems engineering, project management, maintenance engineering and logistics and business management. Mark's demonstrated innovative engineering solutions, adaptability and propensity for hard work has seen him identified as the Group Engineer (LHD/LSD) for the Amphibious Afloat Support Group. His last role was as the commissioning weapons electrical engineering officer and head of department in HMAS Adelaide. Mark has operated in some very difficult and challenging business and project environments spread throughout South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Mark has long experience in the development, integration, repair, fleet management and through life support of numerous complex electrical and electronic engineering systems. Mark's strengths are his leadership abilities to direct maintenance operations and as an engineer for complex electrical/electronic systems, providing design services for electronic systems, technical investigations, implementing fleet wide engineering changes, and providing logistics and engineering fleet management advice. He is well versed in the disciplines of systems and maintenance engineering, project management and the implementation of integrated logistic support and technical regulation.
