About Mark Gamsey

Mark Gamsey is an experienced Filmmaker, Branded Content Producer, TV Producer and Director of Photography. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Mark has been working in content production in Los Angeles and New York since 2002. He is passionate about live action immersive entertainment, virtual events, live streaming and has vast and proven experience on productions of all types and sizes. Gamsey spearheaded and co-produced the Samsung 360 live video experience for the inaugural Electronic Music Awards in Los Angeles. The 360 live-stream to Twitter and Periscope had great engagement with over views in 24 hours. Gamsey was a Co-Producer on the original scripted comedy series Small Shots for Netflix starring Howie Mandel (America's Got Talent) and Jeremy Luke (This Is Us.) Small Shots is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Gamsey works with Done and Dusted, Televisions premiere live broadcast event production company. Previously he was a union camera operator on major Television events like The Victoria's Secret Fashion show and the MTV Video Music Awards. Gamsey worked six seasons on America's Got Talent producing and filming over 50 hometown segments. He also worked on several seasons of American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and X Factor. He follows the world of 360 video and Virtual Reality closely and is well versed in 360 cameras, headsets, post production stitching software and 360 content distribution. Mark produced and filmed 360 video interviews for ABC's Greatest Hits of LL Cool J and World of Dance Season 1 winners Les Twins for NBC's World of Dance. He has his MFA degree from The University of Southern California's School of Film and Television. Mark has his undergraduate degree from Emory University where he directed and filmed the school's first feature length film made by students - The Breach.
