About Mark Gibson

Mark is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (FACP) who currently consults in part-time private practice. Mark also holds a lecturer position at Curtin University (previously a sessional academic). He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA). Mark has a particular interest in the assessment and management of- Neck pain and headaches- Whiplash associated disorders- Low back and pelvic pain- Hip and knee pain- Chronic/persistent pain disorders- Dizziness/Vertigo Mark also consults regionally in Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and Albany. Mark has held a role within the Australian College of Physiotherapists where he successfully facilitated physiotherapists undertaking a training program in physiotherapy specialisation. From 2005 until 2015 Mark was an Adjunct Teaching Fellow position at the University of Western Australia where he was involved in postgraduate education of physiotherapists. Mark has held various positions within the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). He is a past member of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Committee of Western Australia and previously served as a councillor on the Western Australian Branch Council.
