About Mark Gombita

I am an accounting student at Cleveland State University where I expect to graduate in May 2026 and am currently qualified to sit for the CPA Exam.I am a very diligent and hard-working student that aims to go above and beyond every day. I'm in excellent standing at Cleveland State University with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 and earning four Dean's List Awards and one President's List Award so far in my academic career. Pertaining to my working career, I am currently interning at RHM Real Estate Group (started in May of 2025) where I work in the accounting and finance department, completing many different tasks and jobs, such as supporting the team in the completion of internal and external audits, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. I have learned many special skills while completing such tasks and being a part of the accounting and finance department, such as Microsoft Excel, property accounting, and year-end accounting. In addition, I am in my fifth year of my sales associate position at the Metropolitan Market in Pepper Pike. In this position I use my customer service skills to help customers daily with processing transactions, packing prepared foods, and answering any food or cooking related questions. I also use my organizational skills with my coworkers to ensure maximum efficiency in the workplace.My studies at Cleveland State University and work at RHM Real Estate and the Metropolitan Market helped me develop these skills and so much more to mold me into who I am today and my goal to be the best student and worker I can possibly be. I am very excited to keep growing and building upon these skills in the business world.
