About Mark Gordon

I currently own and operate Gordon Home Inspection, providing thorough and timely home inspections in the Boise area. I'm the only degreed, formerly licensed, civil engineer performing inspections, personally, in Idaho- at competitive prices. Since beginning in early 2013, I've performed more than 2500 inspections. I've learned a lot and really enjoyed meeting the Realtors and their buyers. I personally perform the inspection and write the report, which I then typically distribute via email within twenty four hours. I try and provide solutions for any problems. I’ve been around construction my entire working life. I have a degree in civil engineering and was a licensed professional civil engineer for thirty years. I’ve owned both old and new homes, I’ve built homes, and I’ve also owned, repaired, and remodeled rental properties. I worked in the engineered lumber industry for thirty years. I know framing and light construction. I worked in Saudi Arabia for a year and a half back in 1980, building a military installation, and several large industrial projects in the western U.S.
