A wise, fictional race car driver once said; “If you ain’t first, you’re last” – Ricky Bobby. I have quoted these words to SEO discussions more times than I would like to admit. Though this philosophy is immensely helpful when discussing the importance of brand awareness and exposure with potential clients. The difference between page one and page two within Google could be the difference of expanding business or shutting the figurative doors*. The root of my passion is cracking the SEO code on new web properties and providing a deep, technical insight into what positive improvements can be leveraged for future success. Being able to confidently and clearly elaborate my findings to a team of marketing executives or a team of skilled web developers has allowed me to look at my work from multiple perspectives. I simply look at websites from a unique perspective. I have helped grow the SEO team to where we excel today, building strong relationships with other departments alongside, to create a cohesive marketing strategy for all clients.
