About Mark Hallam

I am working hard on accelerating the aviation industry towards zero emissions. Leading projects SHADE, H22S and H2-350 which have demostrated the capabilities of Hydrogen Fuel Cells for applications in powering uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Not only has hydrogen shown it is capable of powering UAS and AAM, but its performance in these systems provides greater ranage and endurance. These projects have been under taken at Swinburne University of Technology's Aerostrauctrues Innovation Research Hub (AIR Hub) where my role is Project Leader Clean Propulsion. Senior manager with significant experience in the Defence, Aviation, Airline and Aerospace sectors. I have held a range of Manager portfolio responsibilities including Account Manager, Project Manager, Quality Manager and Executive Engineer roles reporting to C-Level, Head’s and Managing Directors. I have demonstratable relations with government bodies, commercial, business development, and cross-cultural stakeholder management skills particularly within the National & South-Pacific region. With a career over 15 years in aviation, airlines and aerospace managing key military accounts as well as working with national regulatory bodies. Working with key customers including RAAF, NZDF, Airbus, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems. Focused on collaboration, building and leveraging relationships and rigorous application of project management methodologies.
